You might be comparing providers, planning a change or looking for support for the first time. Send us a few details about what you need, where you are located and what you would like help with. Our team will review your enquiry and get back to you with clear, relevant information.
There is no need to prepare a formal explanation or know the exact NDIS category before contacting us. A simple overview of what is happening now, what kind of help you are considering and what you would like to change is enough to begin.
You can contact RT Disability Services yourself, or a family member, Support Coordinator or other representative can enquire with your permission.
Practical assistance with daily routines, personal activities and household tasks, provided in the comfort of your home.
Support to develop everyday skills, build confidence, and work towards greater independence at your own pace.
Personalised support to access the community, attend activities, travel safely and stay connected with others.
Choosing a provider often involves more than checking which services are available. You may want to understand how the first conversation works, who can enquire, how support is arranged or what happens before you make a decision.
These answers explain what to expect when you contact RT Disability Services and help you decide what you would like to ask next.
We aim to respond within one to two business days. The first reply may include a few questions about your location, funding, availability and the type of support you are looking for. From there, we can arrange a time to talk through your needs and explain the next steps.
Yes. You are welcome to meet with our team before making any decisions. This gives you time to ask questions, discuss what has and has not worked in the past and get a better sense of how we approach support.
You can also bring a family member, Support Coordinator or another person you trust. There is no expectation that you commit during the meeting.
We consider the type of assistance you need, your location, preferred schedule and whether our team has the right experience and availability. We also look at whether our approach matches what you want from a provider.
Contact RT Disability Services to talk through your circumstances honestly. If we do not believe we are the right fit, we will say so rather than make promises we cannot keep.
In many cases, yes. A change of provider does not always need to happen immediately or across every part of your week.
Depending on your funding and current arrangements, you may be able to begin with one or two shifts while keeping other supports in place. This can give you time to become familiar with the team, see how the new arrangement feels and make further changes when you are ready.
We can review your support whenever your routine, goals, health, living arrangements or funding change. That may involve adjusting the timing, frequency or focus of your shifts.
With your permission, we can also communicate with family members, your Support Coordinator or other providers so that everyone understands what has changed and what needs to happen next.
We start with practical conversations about how your day works, what you want help with and what you prefer to manage yourself. We also ask about communication, sensory needs, cultural preferences, household routines and anything else that affects how support feels for you.
This information helps our team provide greater consistency from one shift to the next. It is not fixed, either. You can update your preferences, change your mind or ask for a different approach at any time.
Share only what you feel comfortable discussing. It can be helpful to explain the parts that caused concern, such as missed shifts, poor communication, frequent worker changes or feeling left out of decisions.
When you contact RT Disability Services, we will use that information to understand what needs to be different this time. You can also ask direct questions about how we manage communication, worker consistency, feedback and concerns before deciding whether to move forward.
